This one is tricky :) Just recently (as in last week-2 weeks before school might I add) I was transferred...to a newschoolnewgradeohhhmyword!! So I have not actually taught at my school at all!! And I've never taught second grade which is where I am headed and I have not been able to get into my new classroom. As you can see I am freaking out just a bit...
2. Do you have any pets?
I have a cocker spaniel named Champ and I just loove him!! He's about 5 and a rescue and a piece of work haha! I'm pretty sure my husband is jealous of our summer days spent together :)
3. Do you use Daily Five in your class?
I do and I LOVE it!! I can't wait to do it with my second graders I think it will be even better this year with their ability to be a bit more independent.
4. What is your favorite color?
My favorite color is purple!
5. Where did you go on your honeymoon?
We went to Sandals La Toc in St Lucia...anyone out there planning a homeymoon?? Go there now it is Ahmazing! Most relaxing week ever!
6. Do you drive a car, truck, van, or SUV?
I drive a toyota camry and can't wait til I can afford a Volvo SUV..one day I can dream right??
7. Do you bite your finger nails?
I've never been a nail biter
8. Do you like to use pinterest?
Do I like pinterest...like? That would be a total understatement...I LOVE LOVE LOVE pinterest! I use it for everything!
9. Does your classroom have a theme?
Kind of...I have all the Trend Furry Friend items and I've incorporated some pink, turquoise, lime green, and purple accents all around (or I will when I can finally get in there) I also just made a palm tree and cant wait to stick a monster on there somewhere
10. Are you afraid of heights?
Not so much, I do get a bit shaky when I'm up somewhere high but my real fear is crossing bridges especially the Bay Bridge here in Maryland to get to Annapolis
11. What job would you have if you were not a teacher?
If I wasn't a teacher I would work for a place called Terrawatu (it's a non-governmental organization in Africa) that I visited the summer before my senior year in college. They focus on keeping the traditional Maasai lifestyle alive and build schools and computer classrooms and work with aids orphanages, in other words they do amazing things for the people of Tanzania!

1. I love the beach!
2. I love cooking- I make dinner every night!
3. I just got married-on the last day of school :) talk about stressful!
4. I was a coxswain on the men's rowing team in college (I yelled(motivated) and steered the boat)
5. I can't get enough of Pottery Barn and wish I could do my whole house in their things!
6. I went to Africa 8 years ago and am dying to go back
7. I would like to have 4 kids
8. My favorite animal is the moose
9. I don't iron...like never have I even picked up an iron
10. I love working out, I follow the Tone It Up workout plans and love them
11. My guilty pleasure TV shows are Teen Mom and 16 and Pregnant, my husband is ashamed of this fact :)
